New Style of Amenities
We have introduced an “amenity bar” where guests can pick up the amount of amenities they need at the front desk instead of having them in their rooms at all times. This reduces waste and plastic waste. In addition, environmentally friendly biomass amenities are used, and used toothbrushes and hairbrushes are collected from a recycling box in the guest room. The collected amenities are recycled at a recycling plant and transformed into new amenities and hotel fixtures.

Utilization of Loss Plants
The hotel's courtyard welcomes plants that would otherwise have been discarded after serving their purpose at events and offices. The plants are rested in a greenhouse to recover their root functions, and are then regenerated with hands-on care so that they can blend in with the new soil. Through these efforts, we hope that people's awareness will gradually change from “throw away” to “make the most of” these plants.

Utilization of renewable energ
Our goal is to switch 100% of the electricity used in &Here-owned buildings to renewable energy by FY2030. We will continue to generate electricity from solar power generation and actively introduce renewable energy sources to help reduce greenhouse gas emissions. We will continue to do what we can do now for the future.
Efforts to Achieve the SDGs
The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), adopted at the United Nations Summit in September 2015, consist of 17 goals that should be addressed globally and it is important to contribute to their achievement.
In order to grow sustainably with society and be “a company that continues to be chosen”, &Here will work to solve social issues, including the SDGs, through our business activities and contribute to both our sustainable growth and the realization of a sustainable society.
