Information on surrounding events “Cherry Blossom Day Wameguri Plaza”
THIS WEEKEND (3/30SAT.31SUN), “CHERRY BLOSSOM SUN’S WAMEGURI PLAZA” WILL BE HELD ON THE STREET OF UNINHIBITED STREET (IN FRONT OF THE JUSAN YA KUSHITEN AND IZU EI MAIN STORE).
In the triangular square of Fushin Street, a small raised space with a brazier and tatami mats appears. Enjoy the cherry blossoms while enjoying the tradition of shinobazu, and experience Japanese braids, obi knots, calligraphy, and throwing fans. There are also Japanese meals such as hanami bento, miso soup, dumplings, and matcha for sale.

Contents: Braiding experience, obi-tying experience, “Misho soup” (calligraphy ×miso soup), koto and shakuhachi performance, throwing fan, bun baking experience, lunch box sales, hand towel sales, hibachi space, etc.
Program hours: 11:00-12:00, 13:00-14:00, 15:00-16:00 each day
