Kanda Festival

Kanda Matsuri is a traditional festival of Japan that takes place at the Kanda Shrine in Tokyo. As one of the famous festivals nationwide throughout the Edo period, it is counted among the "Three Great Festivals of Japan" and "Three Great Festivals of Edo".

Held every two years every other year, the Shinkosai Festival is a gorgeous procession that parades about 30 km through Kanda, Japan Bridge, Marunouchi, etc., the Tsukematsuri (Tsukematsuri), a parade of tows that incorporate a variety of cultural and performing arts, and the Mikoshi Shrine Iri, which has spread since the end of World War II and currently has about 100 mikoshi entering the shrine.
Along with the powerful Mikoshi Shrine and Miyairi, please feel the vibrancy of the city up close and experience the traditional culture of Japan.
