What is Uchimizu?
It is a traditional Japan custom to water the front of the house or garden in hot weather to cool down and
reduce dust.
In ancient times, it had the meaning of purifying the path that God passed.
In the Edo period (1603~1868), in the world of tea ceremony,
It is said that it came to be done as a courtesy to entertain guests.
